Phil Hankins

Phil - Is a homegrown teacher who hails from Kentucky. He graduated from Chamberlain High School, went into the Air-Force specializing in Security then Graduated from the Unitversity of Tampa with a degree in Music Education.

Phil has been playing professionally in the Bay Area since 1963, and taught over 35 years. He is now retired as a Middle School Band Director.  He is currently the music director at Keystone Methodist Church, directing the choir and an English Handbell Group. He has been recognized 3 times as a member of Who's Who in American Teachers, he was Teacher of The Year for Webb Middle School in 2005, and a long standing member of The Florida Bandmasters Association. He is also recognized as a Woodwind Adjudicator for FBA competitions. We are quite pleased to have this wonderful teacher as part of our family.
